An extensive 60-day journey circling Australia is being halted in the wake of the death of an senior woman who was stranded by the cruise liner on a distant coastal location.

Suzanne Rees had been trekking on the remote island with fellow passengers from the vessel, but separated from the group for a break. The vessel sailed away leaving her and came back several hours later after the personnel became aware the passenger was not present.
